Hello beautiful people 🦋
I thought it was about time I introduce myself again.
I'm Annie Byrne, a Registered Counsellor taking an integrated holistic approach to therapy.
My full name is actually Sarah-Anne, which many of you don't know, but I choose to go by Annie.
As a kid I was always described as 'having my head in the clouds'. This is still true in many ways, in that I'm always thinking; always dreaming and always extending myself creatively. I'm not conventional; I will question things and I will choose the way I move through this world. I will also respect the way you choose to do so.
I LOVE movement, nature, the ocean and food.
I also love to dork out and read books ALL the time. And I have a totally silly, child-like side of me which I love to embrace on a daily basis.
I'm an avid adventurer, always visiting new places and trying new things.
I am passionate about human potential and believe that each of us has the capacity for incredible growth and change in this lifetime.
I am fiercely loving and protective of my friends and family and I will do just about anything to make sure that they're okay.
I'm also learning, every year that I live, how to love myself better and take care of the parts of me that need nurturing. This did not come naturally to me and is a constant work in progress (I'm sure many of you can relate).
I am incredibly grateful for the people in my life; my amazingly supportive partner, my family and friends.
I am grateful for my own privilege and for what my therapy work allows me to engage with on a daily basis.
I'm also grateful to have many passions and loves in this life of mine and as I move forward in the world with curiosity, I suspect they will grow and develop alongside with me.
I appreciate this community and I love that it can be a space to share information, knowledge and understandings.
